M. W. "Tookie" Myers, D.V.M. is an accomplished veterinarian, farrier, horseman, trainer, instructor and horse show judge. This brings an array of qualifications and unique perspective to each case approach. He keeps abreast of the most current information on limb mechanics, nutrition and internal medicine as it affects the hoof and ultimately the entire horse.
Carlene C. Myers

Carlene Myers is a well respected trainer with an exceptional eye
for conformation alerts. Her past experience as a trimmer brings an
in-depth understanding of hoof balance and management through hoof
mapping protocol, gait analysis using video and hoof balance picture
series together with a strong focus on nutrition and addressing the
whole horse.
Sylvia H. Kornherr

Sylvia Kornherr is a trimmer in Ontario, and certified hoof balance
consultant in Canada applying current
research and techniques built upon sound principals and bio-mechanics
of the equine digit. This information is gleaned from world renowned
farriers, trimmers, veterinarians and researchers, tops in their field.
She applies the concepts of Gene Ovnicek's hoof mapping protocol to
visually map the foot, and Dr. Ric Redden's balanced radiograph
technique to measure hard and soft tissue parameters to optimize
results. She incorporates knowledge from leading barefoot studies and
addresses balanced nutrition to support overall health and hoof
assist. She works with vets, farriers and trimmers to assist them in
achieving corrective address in the foot for barefoot and shod
application, combined together with digitized picture series, video
analysis and
nutrtional address for a complete balance assessment and corrective
action plan.

Peter H. Kornherr
Course instructor for Algonquin College, Consultant for Oxoid Canada, lecturer to various laboratories and various colleges in Ontraio on behalf of the Ontario Society of Medical Technologists. He has written articles for quarterly periodicals and research posters for detection methods of M.R.S.A., G.B.S, and G.A.S. at CACMID and ASM conventions. He co-created the first Health Canada certified Level 3 clinical laboratory in Ontario for TB detection. Recipient of the Robert Armstrong Award. Part of his daily work is assessing a host of many patient sample types for presence of bacterial (including mycobacterial and mycoplasma), fungal and parasitic pathogens. He has also performed environmental microbiolgy testing for several companies such as MDS Nordion and iStat Canada. He brings invaluable knowledge mentoring with his wife and partner Sylvia, proofing internet articles and recent findings concerning equine research in areas of microbiology, nutrition and chemistry. He is a fortress of support to his partner and plays an active role maintaining their hobby farm enjoying their horses, donkey, border collie and kitties.

Neil Daly is an accomplished Master farrier, competitive rider, trainer and horseperson who jumped on his first pony at the age of 3 and owned his first horse "Bear" at the age of 13. He grew up running the gambit of Western, Pleasure, Equitation, Command and Gymkhana, the latter of which he competed across the Ontario and Quebec circuit. He competed in the Josey Jr. Worlds in 1996 in Texas and placed 3 top 10 finishes in Quarteramma in 1996.
Neil started shoeing at the age of
13, working on his grandfather's draft horses
and slowly took over his own horses. He certified
at Oklahoma
Shoeing school, graduating top of his class in 1998.
2001 - he was introduced to Cytek principles and used almost exclusive
cytek shoes for
next 6 yrs.
2007 worked with Dr. Myers' Team and incorporated the roller motion
shoe,
natural balance shoes and latest technology application techniques
using
balanced trimming protocol. Studied barefoot trimming and booting for
therapeutic application. He continues mentorship under Dr.
Myers
and attends continuing education courses twice yearly
including international clinics attending England
twice, Scotland once, Pennsylvania a
dozen times, as well as NY, MI, NH, VT, OH, VA, KY, Ont.
and Que.
Neil's forte lies in his craftmanship dealing with hoof reconstruction and indepth knowledge of equine digit anatomy.
He teams
with Sylvia presenting the hoof dissection/anatomy portion of their
hoof
balance seminars and clinics taught across Ontario and Quebec.
